- the left click on the menu bar icon now works reliably and routes by what you have: the free meter opens the drawer, a trial or license opens the desk, and clicking again hides it. the click always visibly does something now; before this, a click could do nothing at all after the app restored the desk at launch.
- the app now comes back on its own if it is killed or crashes, within five minutes, as long as launch at login is on. quitting from the menu is respected, and it stays quit.
- launch at login re-registers itself every launch, so it can never silently lapse again.
- the about panel now actually appears when you click it.
- the board says "1 handoff ready" instead of "1 handoffs ready".
- the privacy policy in the app now counts its three network calls correctly, and calls the finish button by its real name, "finish faster".

- the menu bar's usage-limit gauge, and its "you've been cut off near this level before" warning, now count your limit the same way they count what you've actually spent. the limit was learning roughly double what it should, so both could show more room than you really had and miss a real close call.
- right after this update, the gauge takes about two minutes on first launch to relearn your real limit. until then it shows no limit at all, then settles on the right number.
- today's spending number now catches its own drift: if the running total ever strays from the exact recount, peddra switches to the exact figure automatically, then switches back once the running total is trustworthy again.

- your numbers now speak your plan's own units: on a claude subscription, finish faster, the click outcome, and your running average all show tokens instead of a dollar figure that was never real for you. paying in dollars still shows dollars, exactly as before.
- a finished chat says what actually ran, in one line: "finished with sonnet. used $1.42," the whole run's real total, priced to its real final model, never one step's slice of it.
- "finished with apple intelligence. free." now means it: peddra only says free when your mac genuinely did every bit of the work. a cost that simply couldn't be measured is never shown as free.
- settings is now three clear cards: your week (trial days left, or your license and its renewal date), your speed (an on/off switch for apple intelligence sitting beside your cloud model choice, with a note that it runs fine on battery too), and updates (your version number and a check-for-updates button).
- the menu bar drawer gained three doors along its bottom edge: desk, settings, statement, always in the same place, each one closing the drawer behind it. cmd-comma opens settings straight from the desk window.
- terms and privacy now open in a real window inside peddra, never in whatever app your mac happens to associate with a text file, with every numbered clause kept exactly as written.

- about peddra is now the real mac about panel: the wordmark, your privacy sentence, and the font credit, instead of a plain alert box.
- fixed a white flash under the dropdown board the moment it opens.
- right-click any chat for a real menu: rename it, or hide it. hidden chats collapse into one line at the list's bottom, with a red dot if a hidden chat still needs you. the menu also reveals a chat's transcript in finder, opens its project folder, or copies the resume command and cost summary.
- the free dropdown's resume list now shows each chat by its own name, once you've given it one, instead of a generic id.

- timestamps from another day now say so ("updated yesterday 3:26pm"), instead of a bare time that reads as today.
- license activation recovers cleanly on flaky connections, and the three-Macs limit explains itself in plain words.
