Peddra reads files that already exist on your Mac and does its math on your Mac. The free meter transmits nothing: no server, no account, no analytics, no tracking, full stop. Peddra Pro makes exactly three kinds of network calls, each described in full below. One: a narrow license check with our licensing service. Two: when you press the "finish faster" button, Claude Code runs on your own machine, under your own Claude account, and sends that one chat to Anthropic to write the summary, the same way it sends every chat you have with Claude. Three: an optional update check, only when you allow it, that fetches one public file from peddra.com to see if a newer version exists. Peddra never presses the finish faster button for you, and if you set your cloud model to none in settings, nothing is ever sent at all. Peddra has no server, no cloud, and no way to see your chats.
All of this reading happens on your Mac. All of the computing that follows happens on your Mac too.
Peddra writes its own working files (settings, computed reports, its data feed) to your Mac only, in its own folders, each restricted to your own user account. It never modifies your transcripts or any Claude or Apple software. For Peddra Pro, your license key and license token are stored in the macOS Keychain, protected by the operating system, never in a plain file.
The free meter: nothing. It has no server and no account to send anything to, and it makes no network call of any kind, ever.
Checking for updates is optional, and the app asks first. When it is on, or when you check manually from the menu, Peddra fetches one public file from peddra.com to see if a newer version exists; that request carries nothing about you or your data.
Peddra Pro: a narrow license check, and nothing else automatic. See "Peddra Pro licensing" below for exactly what is sent, to whom, and when.
When you press finish faster, Peddra runs Claude Code on your own machine, under your own Claude account, and Claude Code sends that chat to Anthropic to write the summary. Peddra never does this on its own: it only happens when you press the button, and only to the model you picked in settings. Set your cloud model to none in settings and nothing is ever sent.
Peddra Pro is activated and kept active with a license key, verified against our licensing service, Keyforge, at keyforge.dev. This is Peddra Pro's only automatic network connection, and it is narrow by design.

That is the complete list. Nothing else is ever included in these calls. Beyond that, a request necessarily shows Keyforge your IP address, as any visit to any website does.
What never leaves your Mac, in Peddra Pro exactly as in the free meter: your Claude Code and Claude Desktop conversations, your code, your usage numbers, your computed reports, and every file path Peddra reads. None of it is sent to Keyforge, to Stripe, or to us.
Payment for Peddra Pro runs through Stripe, our merchant of record, under Stripe's own privacy policy; we never see your card number or billing address. Your subscription is sold through Stripe's Link checkout; your card or bank statement will show the charge as sold through Link, with the descriptor "LINK.COM* MALTBY VENTU": this is Maltby Ventures LLC, the company behind Peddra, billed through Link. Keyforge receives your email address from Stripe at the time of purchase, to issue and tie your license to your subscription. Beyond that email, Keyforge only ever receives what is listed above.
Keyforge may email you directly, from a keyforge.dev address, about your license (for example, a renewal or device-limit notice); this is expected, not spam.
No cookies. No accounts. No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting. No third parties see your conversations, your code, or your usage data, because none of it ever reaches us or anyone else. We do not sell data. We do not share data beyond the narrow license and payment exchange described in "Peddra Pro licensing" above.
For the free meter, there is nothing of yours to delete on our end, because nothing of yours is ever held anywhere but your own Mac. For Peddra Pro, the license identifiers and the email described above are held by Keyforge and Stripe, our vendors, under their own security practices; we do not keep a separate copy ourselves. To have those identifiers deleted from Keyforge and Stripe, email contact@peddra.com and we will request their deletion on your behalf.
Peddra is a developer tool, not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect information at all.
If this policy ever changes, the change will be posted at peddra.com and stated in the app's release notes before it takes effect. A change that weakened any promise on this page would be announced, never made quietly.
