the free meter makes no network call of any kind, ever. it reads files already on your disk and does its math on your Mac. no server, no account, no analytics, no tracking.
beyond the free meter, the full app makes exactly three kinds of network call. the finish click: user-initiated, and it tells you its price before you click. peddra runs Claude Code on your own machine, under your own account, to send that one chat to the model you already chose in settings; set your cloud model to none there and nothing is ever sent, period. the Pro license check: automatic and narrow, at app launch and whenever settings opens, to verify your license. checking for updates: optional, and the app asks first; when it is on, or when you check manually from the menu, peddra fetches one public file from peddra.com to see if a newer version exists, and that request carries nothing about you or your data. nothing else about peddra ever reaches the internet on its own.
buying the full app runs through Stripe. they learn only what any payment processor learns: never your work, your code, or your chats. our licensing service, Keyforge, receives your email from Stripe at the time of purchase, to issue and tie your license to your subscription.
this page is the short version. read the whole privacy policy, or see the complete list of every network call the app can make.
