one click. here is what it does, in order:
- it reads the chat straight from the files Claude Code already writes to your disk.
- it writes the handoff: what happened, what was decided, what's next, and which files were touched.
- you press finish faster; only then does peddra run Claude Code on your own machine, under your own account, to send that one chat to the model you already picked in settings. set your cloud model to none there and nothing is ever sent, period.
the next chat starts already briefed, instead of re-reading everything that came before. the price is measured the same way every other number in peddra is: priced at Anthropic's own published rates. no invented numbers.
finish faster tells you that price before you click. it is your own measured mean once you have finished chats before; on a fresh install, before you have any, it starts from a measured average for the cheapest helper, haiku, until your first finish makes the number yours. when the model you have pinned has no measured record at all, no figure shows, rather than an invented one. set your cloud model to none and there is no cloud button to press at all: your Mac does the work, free.
